Floral Dog Show –
A parody of the more famous and serious horticultural shows. Come and show off your wormiest apple, lumpiest potato, worst flower arrangement etc. Diane Renaud and Reid Mclachlan will be our very distinguished judges. Please look at the attachment for more details.
We will also have a seed exchange that evening. So please start saving seeds from your gardens and bring them to trade at this meeting.

Speaker: Nancy MacLeod of Ohara School of Ikebana
Get some early Xmas ideas! Nancy will demonstrate how to create lovely holiday arrangements through Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangements. She will also do a brief introduction to Ikebana, the Ohara School - the history, the major principles and styles.
Bring in your favorite Xmas goody to be shared with all members.

Pat has been gardening for over 43 years. Since she retired, she has become a Master Gardener of Ottawa-Carleton. Pat will cover the basics to start a garden from scratch, as well as giving some suggestions on fixing an existing garden that could use some sprucing up.
