The Gatineau Valley Gardeners’ executive has been working very hard putting together a schedule for this upcoming 2020-2021 season.  With COVID still very much around, we have had to think a lot more outside the box.  The Church is not yet open and we are still uncomfortable anyway having indoor meetings.  So we have put together a schedule where all our meetings for this fall will be outside at different locations and on Saturday mornings.  In January we will reassess how things are with COVID.  But we do have speakers tentatively booked for the New Year.  The full schedule is below.

Saturday, Sept 19, 2020

Time:  10 am-11:30 am

Topic:  Overwintering Tender Bulbs

Speaker:  Diana Trafford

An amateur gardener, Diana lays no claim to being an expert but admits to having good success with keeping bulbs through the winter, and will share her secrets. She has been a member of GVG since 2006 and served as club president in 2012-2013.

Please bring your own chair and a mask.

There will also be a very short 15 minute AGM and a seed /bulb swap.  Please bring seed or bulbs from your garden that you can share with other members.  You will be able to visit the museum and house afterwards.
