Speaker:  Trish Murphy, owner of Beaux Arbres, native plant nursery. Trish will talk about using small native plants from the Ottawa Valley’s cliffs, barrens, fens, and alvars to add diversity to our own gardens.

Seed Swap – this is good time of the year to bring in seeds to swap with other fellow gardeners.

Nancy will talk about guidelines for selecting roses for Zones 3-4, cultural practices to keep roses healthy from season to season, and establishing microclimates in your garden to successfully grow less hardy varieties.
